Current Location: In storage. On July 25, 2012, the executive director of the Oakland Park Zoo, Dr. Joel Parrott, had the monument removed just days before a planned protest by Atheists and placed in storage at an unknown location.

Original Location: Knowland State Park. The park was conveyed to the City of Oakland in 1977. In 1982, the Oakland gave the Alameda County Botanical and Zoological Society the responsibility for managing the entire Knowland Park and Oakland Park Zoo. The contract has been periodically renewed. The monument was located near the Snow Building which is located at the top of the hill with a spectacular view of the Bay. (9777 Golf Links Road.) The zoo is publicly onwned.

Current Location: Relocated in the 1990s to a garden at the Civic Center, 415 Diamond Street and Pacific Coast Highway.

Original Location: Civic Center at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Diamond St.
